LELIA ANSARI, principal broker, grew up in the Venetian region of Italy called "Il Veneto" where, since the Renaissance, splendid patrician villas grace the countryside; many by Andrea Palladio. Hence her love for architecture transposed to the rich Colonial or Contemporary American heritage.
Academic background: M.A. from "Ca' Foscari" University in Venice, M.PHIL. (PH.D., a.b.d.) from Columbia University, New York.
Lelia also lived for several years in Florence, fortunate to enjoy all the treasures of Florentine and Tuscan Art and Architecture.
She has been an associate broker in Dutchess County for sixteen years, seven of which were with the exclusive affiliate of CHRISTIE'S GREAT ESTATES for Dutchess, Columbia and Ulster counties
